- Sarah Frank, an Ilwaco graduate, is sharing her faith through song and has just produced her third streaming music project.
Ever since she was eight, Sarah Frank has been sharing the intensity of her Christian faith through song.
Now the 19-year-old singer-songwriter is seeking to share that spirit with audiences broader than the Long Beach Peninsula.

Frank graduated from Ilwaco High School in 2023, and simultaneously earned her degree through the Running Start program at Grays Harbor College.
She has sung the national anthem at IHS sporting events, the Rod Run weekend slow drag races, the Long Beach Rodeo, and parades in Long Beach. She has also taken part in the Crab Pot Christmas Tree lighting music in Ilwaco.
Frank, who records under the name of Sarah James Frank, is a self-taught musician who plays piano, bass, drums and “a little guitar.” At IHS, she was active in sports and music, and this spring serves as a volunteer assistant coach for the boys’ soccer squad.
She has been singing as part of the worship team at Pacific Bible Church since 2018 and last year took over as worship leader.
Her latest musical composition, “Sound of His Glory,” has been professionally mastered and is available on streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube.
It follows two earlier productions, a 2021 album called “Home” and a single last year called “You are Forgiven,” which was recorded at a studio in Seaside.
