Before the federal government and the states decide to tear down four dams on the Snake River for the purpose of restoring salmon runs, first they should be made to start producing electricity by building more natural gas power plants to replace the lost hydro power that will be lost when they do tear down those dams.

As for the salmon , they should start by eradicating the 2,300 or so California sea lions that are overpopulated on the Columbia River and decimate the salmon by the hundreds of thousands every year. They also kill thousands of sturgeon.
