- Tuna and Trout
Tuna and Trout (Big Tuna and Little Trout) are a pair of six-month-old kittens with special needs.
What are their special needs? Whether congenital or from profound neglect when very young, both have cataracts and are visually impaired. Tuna has some vision; he moves around without problems, purrs when he is being held and loves to play with toys and unroll toilet paper. Trout is blind; his beautiful whiskers keep him from walking into walls and his excellent sense of smell gets him to food, water and the litter box. He doesn’t object to being held but doesn’t purr or play. Trout will come to you and rub against your legs to tell you how much he appreciates you.
What do they need? A home that is safe and stress-free, where they will be together and get excellent care and lots of love and attention. Our goal is to find the ideal home for these boys. They are super sweet and a joy to be around. Tuna and Trout are easy to care for and, except for their vision issues, are healthy, neutered and up-to-date on vaccines and worming and flea treatments.
