America is doomed, and we’re watching it happen in slow motion!

• 92 criminal indictments, guilty of civil fraud and sexual assault, lied to America about a stolen election and then fomented an insurrection. And a third of America still believes the lies, ignores the evidence, the crimes and continues to follow blindly.

• Tucker Carlson, the darling of GOP MAGA, goes to Russia to interview and legitimize the murderous dictator Vladimir Putin. And a third of America will inevitably believe every word that comes out of Tucker Carlson and Vladimir Putin’s mouths.

• House and Senate Republicans say they want to secure the border and stop illegal immigration, but when given a chance to actually strengthen border security, it turns out they would rather have the issue to complain about and campaign on, instead of passing a law that would actually fix the problem. And a third of America will ignore the facts, believe the lies and won’t hold Trump or GOP leadership accountable.

• Finally the GOP continues to promote a candidate that if elected would destroy American democracy as we know it, by making himself a dictator. And based on recent election poles, half of America apparently believes surrendering our democracy to an autocrat would be an improvement.

Do you see why I’m pessimistic about America’s future?

Folks, America is indeed doomed, and sadly one reason is that far too many of us are complacent about the threat.
