Pacific County Voices Uniting (PCVU) would like to express our appreciation to the community for opening your doors and having conversations with our staff prior to the November election. PCVU is a nonpartisan organization who knocked on 1945 doors to remind folks of the upcoming election and provide supportive materials to help increase voter participation.

We would also like to give a heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make our recent showings of “Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution” a success. Thank you to the amazing crews at Raymond Theatre and Neptune Movie House who went above and beyond to support this event, and thanks to all the folks who joined us or helped spread the word! We are grateful for the partnership and collaboration of Developmental Disabilities Administration/DSHS, Timberland Regional Libraries, Coastal Community Action Program, Dylan Jude Harrell Community Center, Golden Sands, Peace of Mind Pacific County, Crisis Support Network, Olympic Area Agency on Aging, Teen Advocacy Coalition and Raymond School District. It was a joy to host more than 60 community members for “Crip Camp” and we can’t wait for the next event!
PCVU is committed to Disability Justice, and we look forward to connecting with anyone and everyone who’d like to support or learn more about this work. During the month of January, PCVU will be having conversations with community members living with disabilities, their caregivers and folks who have a loved one living with disabilities. We invite our neighbors with disabilities and those who care for them to reach out to us at 360-580-5651 if you would be interested in confidentially sharing your story, thoughts or needs with us (we want to hear from you so we can better serve you!). Visit our Facebook and www.pcvu.org for more on this and future opportunities!
