Dec. 22 — A reporting party stated that there was a discrepancy at a gas station and a lady swung at him. He advised an officer that the female subject hit his shoulder and tried to hit him in the face but did not make contact. He did not want to press charges but would like her talked to. “I contacted [her], who was remorseful for her actions. She advised that she did not intend to hurt him and it was a bad choice of actions. She stated that the reporting party was already irritable when he got to the gas station and when he tried to rip the receipt from her hands it escalated the situation. We discussed how physical violence is never the answer and she was free to leave after brief conversation. I passed along her remorse” to the reporting party.
