What initially caught my eye about this letter to the editor in your Dec. 6 issue was the sign, then the title. What I saw next was red! At least you could have included an Editor’s Note at the end of Richard D. Bonehead Jr’s screed. The slogan he referenced is not a terrorist message. The slogan concludes saying: We will be free. You could have noted that by responsibly stating the correct interpretation of the Palestinian peoples’ desire to be loose of the chains of Israeli apartheid.

Giving an unedited platform to someone who obviously has no knowledge of Palestine’s history and the result of their land being given away in 1948 allows that person to inject poisonous propaganda into the community. Any person who does not read is dangerous. Witness Trump and his cadre of MAGAs. With the number of non-readers in Pacific County, don’t errantly encourage them.
