Sassy

This is one sweet kitty girl! Sassy came to us from the local veterinarian, where she had surgery to repair an injured hip. Her owner couldn’t afford the surgery so she had to give Sassy up. The surgery on Sassy’s hip was 100% successful, and her hip should not cause her any trouble in the future, according to the vet.

While Sassy was recovering, our wonderful Cat Cuddlers followed her around the shelter so she could safely get some exercise. She definitely kept us on our toes! Since her recovery, she has been living in our free-range Playroom and seems to get along well with the other cats and kittens. Sassy loves attention, and will seek pets from visitors to the Playroom. In her mind, the more love and attention the better! She would make a wonderful companion for a person or family that wants a calm, loving young kitty.

As Pet of the Week, Sassy’s adoption fee has been halved to just $25. She is fully vetted and ready to go. If you are interested in Sassy or any of the other shelter pets, go to our website beachpets.com and submit an application to us electronically.

We are open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday by appointment only for adoptions and surrenders. Stray drop-off, spay/neuter vouchers and pet food program are available during open hours.
