Letter of thanks: Water Music was one of the best ever

Water Music Festival is in the record books, and it was, without a doubt, one of the best festivals ever, thanks in large part to our outstanding artists, but equally to all who volunteered and supported our organization, which has been producing musical events since 1985.

We are particularly grateful for the ongoing, generous support of the WYSS Foundation and granting agencies. To the Chinook School Event Center, our very warmest thanks for all of your help — we love the venue! Our artists were housed at the Adrift, thanks to the generosity of Tiffany Turner. School Music Director Rachel Lake and students were amazing as they helped with setup, tear down, serving our guests, performing, parking cars — and all with a professional and most enthusiastic attitude!
We appreciate the assistance of all non-board volunteers, as well as beautiful flower arrangements by Nansen Florals. We are grateful for news coverage by the Chinook Observer, Coast Weekend, KMUN, and Patrick Webb. And to former Bridgewater Bistro owners Tony and Ann Kischner, we loved that you served premium wines at our concerts!
To all of you who purchased tickets to the concerts — thank you for your support! We hope you thoroughly enjoyed our incredible artists! It takes a village to produce the annual WMF, and every board member did his or her part in making this event such a wonderful success! Thank you so much!
