This is a letter in support of Keli Lucero for the position of Port of Peninsula, Commissioner District 2.

I have known Keli for many years. She is a smart young woman who, although new to politics, has had many positions that have prepared her for the challenges of the Port of Peninsula. She has worked in customer service, is a active volunteer in many areas, and dealt with people in all walks of life.

She understands the problems facing the port commissioners, knowing how vital the port is to the economy of the area, and how many jobs are at stake. She has done her research and is ready to apply herself to the job, promising thoughtful governance, transparent communication, always being available to the other commissioners, the port manager and staff and the general public. Keli promises to work with the port and other employees to achieve the goals of making the port a better place, with strategic goals and plans for the future.
