Once again Karen Stephens has seen a community need and volunteered to do the work to meet that need; this time she needs our help. By merely writing in Karen Stephens for School Board Director Position 5 we are assured of representation on the Ocean Beach School Board by someone that knows the importance of attracting good employees for local businesses starts with having a sound community school system for their young families.

Since 1988, Karen Stephens along with her husband Curt has tirelessly operated Ocean Park Resort, providing stable affordable housing for many along with a known destination for happy vacationing visitors. This takes a very contemplative, considerate leader!

Karen’s continued participation and dedication to the many community events focused on children through her extensive involvement in the Ocean Park Chamber of Commerce, long after seeing her own children educated in the Ocean Beach School system, has given her the continued incite on how our school system impacts the whole community.
