Esther Thomas

A celebration of life for Esther Thomas will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8 at the Hilltop Auditorium in Ilwaco. It is open to the community.

Thomas died last week. She was a junior at Ilwaco High School, where she participated in music, track and cross country programs, as well as the SkillsUSA vocational program.

She was the daughter of John and Sundrea Thomas. Her father has been pastor of New Life Church (Assembly of God) in Ilwaco since 2015.

Her older sister, Tazlina Thomas, a student at Northern Michigan University, is traveling back to attend the service. Anyone would like to contribute to her travel expenses may make donations at the Great Northwest Federal Credit Union.
