ILWACO — Christmas will come early in Ilwaco with an event to close out the Saturday Market season.

Leaders with Ilwaco Merchants Association are inviting visitors to bust out their favorite holiday sweater and wear their elf hats Sept. 30.

The market runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and features multiple vendors. For a small donation, visitors can have their photo taken with a Fisherman Santa from 1 p.m. to 3 p.,m. Money raised will help pay for the annual Crab Pot Christmas celebrations.

The people’s choice voting for the best vendor “holiday spirit” display and best attire will run all day until 3 p.m.
