John C. George, 64, faces three counts of delivery of a controlled substance and one count of using a building for illegal drug purposes. George entered a waiver of speedy trial effective Sept. 8 through Dec. 7, and his current trial date of Sept. 26 was stricken. The court set a new trial date for Nov. 28 and a pretrial hearing for Sept. 29.
Jamie R. Brown
Jamie R. Brown, 48, was arrested on July 27 and is charged with ten counts of delivery of a controlled substance and two counts of second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm. His trial is scheduled for Sept. 18, but his indigent defense counsel, Justin Kover, has requested to withdraw from representing Brown due to a conflict. The court set a review hearing for Sept. 15 to examine the issue.
Matthew M. Pearson
Matthew M. Pearson, 38, faces three separate cases for second-degree assaults, delivery of a controlled substance, and possession of stolen vehicles. His indigent defense attorney, David Hatch, requested the court reduce Pearson’s bail. Judge Donald J. Richter denied the motion, and all three cases were set over to Oct. 13 for pretrial hearings.

Richard F. Lian, 60, was arrested May 19 while working at the 101 Quick Stop in Raymond. He faces two counts of delivery of a controlled substance. The court reset his trial for Nov. 13 and set a pretrial hearing for Oct. 13.
