Amber Frank is busy gearing up to coach the new Naselle School’s cross country team. And she is inviting the community to get some exercise to help support the Comet student-athletes.

She has organized a Sunset Fun Run/Walk on Aug. 27. The course begins at Naselle School and takes a mixed terrain through the neighboring rural trails.

People can register online at https://nasellecrosscountry.regfox.com/summer-sunset-5k-fun-run. Cost is $15.

Then, at 5 p.m. on the day of the run, they can pick up their bib and pay by cash or check. The race/walk starts at 6 p.m. Awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers.

Money raised will help pay for cross country expenses this coming season.

Walkers are informed that the course may not be “stroller friendly.”
