In the coming Aug. 1 election, we will be asked to vote on a bond supporting the Ocean Beach Hospital.

Currently, there are long wait times for primary care providers and seeing a physician on short notice can be difficult. This bond will provide local urgent care and space for new medical personnel which could help address this. It would also leave the emergency room to address true emergencies. These capital projects will also help our local economy by hiring local businesses, purchasing materials locally, and employing people in our community.

Please support our local hospital and clinic to continue to positively serve our residents by voting yes for the OBH bond on Aug. 1.
