I am writing to express my support for the Ocean Beach Hospital bond on the Aug. 1 ballot. It is so important to have local health care, easily accessible and committed to the community.

In addition to supporting improvements to the facility, the bond will also support the development of an urgent care clinic to serve our community. As a senior, I value care that is accessible and does not require me to travel far to get urgent care.

The bond, at a cost of only about $6 per month on a $400,000 home is a valuable investment in local health care. Please join me in voting yes on Aug. 1, for the Ocean Beach Hospital Bond.
