“Perseverance Furthers” is a quote from the I Ching. It applies to this situation.

Seven Supreme Court justices have ruled in favor of us indigenous people. As Derrick Lente, a Sandia Pueblo and New Mexico state representative said, “This ruling is a huge win for tribal nations by protecting the notion that we are distinct sovereign communities within the United States.” More importantly, Justice Gorach wrote, “Our Constitution reserves for tribes a place — an enduring place — in the structure of American life.”

We Chinook are at the center of the history of the American West. This puts Chinook wind into the sails of the notion of all us Chinook working together to right our Ship of State and get on an even keel to sail around the world and eventually to recognition by the United States of America. “Perseverance Furthers.”
