I’m writing in support of the Aug. 1 vote on the Ocean Beach Hospital Facility Improvement bond.

This bond, at a cost of only about $68 a year on a $400,000 home, will help our rural hospital and clinic have more up to date and expand facilities which directly benefits peninsula residents. Having local urgent care supports not only permanent residents but also vacationers and businesses.

Healthcare facilities must be updated to support both an increase of usage and changing technology requirements. Please join me in voting yes for quality health care and local urgent care.
