Sasha is a very friendly and well mannered five-and-a-half-year-old Australian Cattle Dog (ACD) who will make someone a fantastic family dog!

Sasha came to us a little chunky, but she is slimming down in foster care, as her foster dad takes her for an hour walk twice a day. Even though she is still working on her girlish figure, she is an active dog who enjoys walks and hikes, and walks well on a leash. Cattle Dogs are known for their intelligence and loyalty, and Sasha is no exception. She is very trainable, and eager to please. She has lived with another big dog, as well as cats, and gets well with both. Come and meet this great dog! She would love to be a part of your family. As Pet of the Week, Sasha’s adoption fee has been halved to just $62.50, and she is fully vetted and ready to go!

Herman is a delightful ten year old “creamsicle” kitty with a handsome orange and white coat.

He looks and acts younger than his 10 years, and is a very easy-going boy who loves pets. He would be a loving companion for an older person, or respectful kids. He is an easy-keeper who likes to sit with his people- a true “lap cat”. As Pet of the Week, Herman’s adoption fee has been halved to just $12.50. Thank you, Grrrrage Sale shoppers

This year’s Grrrrage Sale was a success, thanks to our loyal supporters who “shopped ‘til they dropped”! Our sale items were not priced, instead the volunteers asked shoppers what amount of money they wanted to give for items. Shoppers gave generously to raise much-needed funds for the care of the shelter animals! Thank you to those who donated sale items, and who bid generously on the days of the sale. We also want to thank our dedicated volunteers for all the hard work getting the sale ready, and for operating the fundraiser the entire weekend!

We are open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday by appointment only for adoptions and surrenders. Stray drop-off, spay/neuter vouchers and pet food program are available during open hours.
