Once the water reservoir is filled and plugged in, which begins the heat-up process, you can choose between a high, medium, or low temperature setting. The clear instructions helped me feel less intimidated since it was my first time ever using a steam mop, and it was ready to use within minutes of me putting it together.

I typically select high heat for tile, low heat for finished hardwood, and medium for anything I’m unsure of. As it reaches its correct temperature, the blue indicator light will stop flashing and the mop itself will become nice and steamy.
