Vote yes on Ocean Beach Hospital bond. This bond will enhance healthcare for everyone in the Long Beach community.

It has been my observation that the staff at Ocean Beach Hospital are dedicated, competent and professional. With the passing of this bond, we’ll see the addition of a nonprofit urgent care center, increased access to women’s health services at the Ocean Park clinic, and improvements for energy efficiency at facilities to lower utility costs.

The bond will also enable upgrades to medical equipment, patient rooms, expand the Ilwaco Clinic, the Wellness & Rehabilitation Center, and the pharmacy. We citizens of South Pacific County will benefit from these things and more at a mere 17 cents per $1,000 on assessed property value. As an example, a home assessed at $400,000 would pay $68 per year. Fuel costs to drive to another hospital would cost more than that!
