We would like to thank the community for participating in our capital facilities bond discussion. We feel strongly that rural communities receive the same level and quality of care as our urban counterparts.

Your input has been critical to formulate our bond package. The Ocean Beach Hospital and Medical Clinics’ Board of Commissioners recently passed a resolution to place a capital bond on the April 25, 2023, special election ballot. The bond will fund necessary improvements to increase the quality of and access to health care services in our rural community.
Projects we have arrived at together include renovating patient rooms, providing a nonprofit urgent care center, expanding the Ilwaco Clinic and the Wellness and Rehabilitation Center, increasing access to women’s health services at our Ocean Park Clinic, adding space for specialty services, and upgrading medical equipment.
Our public hospital district is designated a Critical Access Health Care provider for our rural community. Our families deserve and require this level of service without having to drive long distances for it. To learn more, please visit our website at www.oceanbeachhospital.com.
