Ocean Park Area Chamber of Commerce Meeting
OCEAN PARK — On Dec. 8 starting at 8 a.m. the Ocean Park Area Chamber of Commerce will host its last general membership meeting for 2022 via Zoom. The year-end meeting is open to the public. Tuba Christmas at the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum
ILWACO — After a two-year hiatus because of the pandemic, Tuba Christmas is back at the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum in Ilwaco.The event will be 2 p.m. Dec. 10. The Astoria Tuba Quartet will perform seasonal selections, jazz arrangements and a polka or two. Author Lynette McAdams will open with a reading of “A Coastal Christmas.” This year’s concert is sponsored by the Ilwaco Merchants Association and is free, although seating is limited. Wellspring Community Network Town Hall
LONG BEACH — A Wellspring Community Network Town Hall in collaboration with Big Brothers/Big Sisters SW WA, DJH Community Center, Peace of Mind Pacific County and Timberland Libraries includes a free pajama night at the Neptune theater, Dec. 11. Free dinner 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., movie at 6:30 p.m. Coloring contest, plus prizes for best jammies, slippers and stuffed animal friend. All ages welcome. Reservations required. Tickets at Event Brite. ‘Carols, Cookies and Cocoa at the Fort’
CHINOOK — The Peninsula Association of Performing Artists will host a fundraiser “Carols, Cookies and Cocoa at the Fort” 3-5 p.m. Dec. 11 at the theater at Fort Columbia State Park in Chinook. It will feature music and skits plus audience carol singing. There will be raffle baskets and a silent auction. No Discover Pass is required on 12 days next year
OLYMPIA — The Washington State Discover Pass Program has designated the Discover Pass free days for 2023. On these days, visitors will not need a Discover Pass to park at Washington state parks and on recreation lands managed by Washington Department of Natural Resources and Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.
