Lindstrom MVP; many Comets named all-league

Elmer Toftemark (11), also a senior, was named to the first team as an offensive lineman.

NASELLE — Members on the Comet football team figured as standouts in the 1B all-league selections for the Districts 1-4 South.

Senior Kolten Lindstrom was named most valuable offensive player, sharing the honor with Mossyrock sophomore Easton Kolb.

Sophomore Jacob Lindstrom was one of two players named first-team quarterback.

For wide receivers/tight ends, sophomore Jack Strange was named to the first team. For running backs, senior Luke Johnson was named to the second team.

Elmer Toftemark, also a senior, was named to the first team as an offensive lineman, sophomore lineman William Anderson was named to the second team and sophomore Caiden Burke earned an honorable mention.

On defense, Naselle was well represented. First-team defensive linemen/defensive ends included Kolten Lindstrom. Anderson was named to the second team.

For linebackers, Toftemark was honored on the first team. Johnson was named to the first team as a defensive back and Strange to the second team.

Freshman Scott Henington was named first-team kicker.

Coach of the Year was Eric Ollikainen of Mossyrock.
