Letter: Re-elect Anderson PUD commissioner

Published 10:48 am Monday, October 24, 2022

The ratepayers/owners of PUD #2 of Pacific County have been well represented by Commissioner Dick Anderson.

Dick was attending board meetings for over four years before he was encouraged to run for the commissioner position.

He was very interested in keeping our electric rates as low as possible and was opposed to the $18 million expansion to Tokeland/Grayland area. (Tokeland and Grayland electricity needs are served by Grays Harbor PUD.)

When Dick was elected to the board, he voted to rescind the expansion proposal, thus saving our PUD millions of dollars.

Dick’s only objective as our commissioner is to keep our PUD operating in the best interest of its ratepayers/owners. Because of his actions as our commissioner, PUD #2 of Pacific County will be debt-free in 2024!
