Letter of Thanks: Chinook school got lots of help with Oktoberfest

After a three-year absence, Friends of Chinook School’s annual fundraiser Oktoberfest — “Chinook Style” returned and was an amazing success. Over 200 people attended and participated in the auctions, enjoyed great music on the main stage and in the Beer Garden.

Our thanks to our remarkable chef, Vinessa Karnofski who served a delicious Bavarian dinner with rave reviews! Thanks to Brian O’Connor, Ted Brainard and George Coleman for their soulful sound and great variety of music. They even had a surprise harmonica performance by Michael Lalewicz! Our thanks to Steve Dylzell for providing a crowd pleasing musical talent in the beer garden.

Most of all thanks to the community, businesses, and many volunteers for their support of this event which made it a great success. Thank you. See you next year!
