Letter: Leave political yard signs alone

Election day is still over six weeks away. Ballots have not been mailed out yet. And yet campaign signs are already disappearing from private property and public rights of way. What pilfering parties may not realize is those signs, in addition to being political free speech, probably cost someone money — postage if nothing else. They aren’t yours to take without permission.

Please be considerate and leave the signs alone even if you are opposed to the candidate or ballot measure.
