Letter: Layman is the right choice for PUD

As a resident of Ocean Park who has had the pleasure of working with Michelle Layman on various projects over the last several years, I wholeheartedly support her candidacy for Public Utilities Commissioner #03.

Michelle’s work as Director of Willapa Harbor Chamber of Commerce has been exceptional over the years. The steps she has taken towards solutions for housing shortages are commendable. The growth of her business from Willapa Printing to Willapa Printing Boutique has been steadfast and well thought out.

I have attended EDC hosted meetings where she was present and her comments and suggestions are clear, concise and forward thinking. Those same adjectives can be used regarding any questions she asks. Being able to cut to the meat of a problem and create a reasonable and successful plan is one of the qualities I admire most about Michelle. Her clear thinking, ethics, integrity and connection with the needs and concerns of the public will stand her well as a PUD Commissioner.

Please vote with me for Michelle Layman — she will get the job done.
