Letter: Peninsula people go above and beyond

On Tuesday morning, Aug. 9, I went for a walk, tripped and fell in front of the “Long Beach Pie Lady” — ouch! Two beautiful angels came to my rescue and I can’t thank them enough!

I ended up fracturing my left knee cap and am in a leg brace, waiting to see an orthopedic doctor at home. I wanted to express my deep thanks to my two angels, Dr. Boyleston and his staff at Ocean Beach Hospital and to the staff at Oceanview Inn at the Arch for not charging us for a second night when we had to head home!

Everyone was so concerned, helpful, polite and caring! Such good people! Thank you!
