Thank you from Dylan Jude Harrell Community Center

As the school year comes to an end and we reflect on our first year of the After School Program, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to the entire community for the endless support. When we opened our doors on September 27th we welcomed 18 kids to the After School Program, and this past week, we served 136 students! To all our families: Thank you for allowing your kids to be a part of this program and for gracefully adjusting when there were curveballs (moving locations and a covid closure)! To our students: we are so proud of you and all the things you have accomplished this year. You are some of the bravest people we know and you make our jobs so much fun!

This program was only possible because of support from this community, a grant from Pacific County, and a solid partnership with Ocean Beach School District, all of which we are incredibly grateful for. We look forward to many more years of serving this community and the young people at the heart of it. Onward to September!
