There was a slide show and posters that captured different events and projects throughout his life that included the merry-go-round and the 30’ high Ferris Wheel he built, by himself, when he was 12. Most notable, was the invention Ray made of a hoist for Harbor Bell to retrieve totes of oysters from the boat to the dock that saved hours of time and labor. Ray was key that started the first shellfish hatchery for Washington State at Bay Center Mariculture Co. Many of his inventions and prize-winning-fair entries from Pacific County Fair were on display narrated with details by Dutch Holland.
Thanks to all who attended and participated.
