Letter: Chinook is opposed to camping in the park

I am appalled at Commissioner Lisa Olsen’s interpretation of the meeting held at the Chinook School concerning the use of Chinook Park.

The citizens of Chinook attending were clearly against the county’s plan to bring camping back to the park. All of our concerns were given and clearly written on the white board by the new head of the Public Works Department.

We now know beyond all hope that none of you care at all about the people who live here and vote for you. I will do my best to campaign against every one of you when the time comes. I am so sick and tired of officials elected by the people and for the people working against the people.
