Shoreline Master Program Periodic Review

Public Comment Period and Public Hearing

The City of Long Beach and the Washington Department of Ecology are accepting comments on a periodic review of the City of Long Beach shoreline master program (SMP) under RCW 90.58.080(4). The city has prepared draft SMP amendments to keep the SMP current with changes in state law, changes in other city plans and regulations, and other changed local circumstances.

Public comments will be accepted from December 15, 2021 to January 21, 2022 at 5 p.m. A joint local-state public hearing is set for 6:00 PM, January 11, 2022, via Zoom. Meeting ID: 817 9120 1773 and Password: 12345678.
