Pacific County Emergency Management Agency is finalizing its Hazard Mitigation Plan draft

The Pacific County Emergency Management Agency is finalizing its Hazard Mitigation Plan draft prior to submission to the Washington Emergency Management Division and FEMA for review and approval. The plan assesses natural hazards’ risks and vulnerabilities to the county, its municipalities, school districts, and numerous other stakeholders. It provides recommendations to increase their hazard resiliency and reduce risk. In doing so, these actions aim to protect property and those who reside within the county.

The draft plan will be available for questions and review for a two week period from December 8th to December 22nd via request.
