Death toll rises by 21: May 7 Washington state coronavirus update

The state’s coronavirus death toll increased by 21 in the 24 hours ending at 11:59 p.m. May 6, according to the Washington Department of Health’s Thursday update, bringing the total to 891.
There are 16,231 confirmed cases of covid-19 in Washington state, an increase of 326 cases in the reporting period.
The nation’s death toll rose by 1,987 on Thursday to a total of 75,254, the Washington Post reported.
