With the move, Pacific Transit joins a growing list of transit agencies in the region to suspend fare collections, including Sound Transit and King County Metro in the Puget Sound area.
Pacific Transit is also encouraging passengers to practice social distancing by entering and exiting from the rear door of its buses, unless a mobility concern requires the use of the ramp at the front door. While in the bus, passengers are asked to do their best to keep a distance of six feet from one another whenever possible.
