NEWBERG — The Lower Columbia All-Stars 10 and under team competed in the 2019 Newberg baseball tournament July 6 and July 7. The team, made up of boys from Naselle, Astoria and the Long Beach area, were undefeated for the tournament. They beat teams from Dallas, Lakeridge, and Newberg, Ore., before facing the Dallas Prune Pickers again in Sunday’s championship game. The L.C. All-Stars bested Dallas 17-2 in the third inning.
