Starting at the Coastal Forest Loop Trail, explore the primal fog forest of Cape Disappointment, including Spruce trees, up to 10 feet in diameter. 1.5 miles, hilly from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 6.

From 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, July 7, take a historical tour of the North Head area to learn how a 1921 storm and the U.S. Navy created some of the concrete ruins we see today. Meet at the Bell’s View Interpretive Trail at North Head. Tour is an easy walk, and one hour in length.

An extremely low tide makes it possible to discover amazing creatures on the edge of the sea. Learn more from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 10. Meet at Beard’s Hollow parking lot, one-mile round trip, easy.
