- Rango, top, and Bruno are best friends who deserve to be adopted together.
Got farm? Got great farm dogs?
Well we do! Introducing Rango and Bruno! Two dog buddies who are hoping to land a job on your farm or ranch.
These buddies came to us from OFOSA-Oregon Friends of Shelter Animals. This rescue group secures dogs from other shelters, particularly “kill” shelters and works to adopt them to good homes. Our two guys came from high-“kill” shelters in California
Because they came to us from another rescue group, we don’t know anything about them. As they stay with us their personalities are emerging.
Rango is a sturdy polka-dotted great Pyrenees mix, a breed known to be very loyal and protective of their families and fellow pets. Bruno is a very shy border-collie mix who likes people but takes a while to warm up.
And these two guys recognized a need in each other. Bruno needs a strong buddy to make him feel safe; Rango needs someone to protect. A match made in heaven!
We are very much hoping that Rango and Bruno can go to a farm home together. Neither of them would probably be good without the other, particularly Bruno. It would be beyond sad for them to be split up.
Hopefully there is someone out there who has a farm or acreage and an extra-large heart, a heart big enough for these two nice dogs. Together forever.
We would be very grateful to receive donations of canned cat food and liquid laundry detergent — ideally the high-efficiency “H.E.” type, but not absolutely necessary. We don’t need fabric softener, but would really appreciate getting donations of bleach. Thank you so much!
