Sherry S. Ahlers

VANCOUVER — Sherry Sue Ahlers, 68, an 18-year resident of the Peninsula, died in Vancouver on Dec. 2, 2016. Friends are welcome to attend a graveside service will be Friday, Dec. 9, at 2 p.m. at Lone Fir Cemetery in Long Beach. Her guestbook is available at www.penttilaschapel.com.

Beulah Munday

OCEAN PARK — Beulah Munday passed away on Nov. 28, 2016, at her Ocean Park home at the age of 103. She was born Oct. 23, 1913 in Four Lakes, Wash. She is survived by her daughter, Patsy Schultis; five grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands Mark Koontz and Howard Munday, and her son, Bill Koontz. She raised Japanese Chins and Chihuahuas and enjoyed showing them at dog shows. She groomed dogs for years and loved her four-legged kids! At her request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the South Pacific County Humane Society. Arrangements are by Penttila’s Chapel by The Sea.
