ILWACO — On Saturday, April 9, Master Gardeners are sponsoring a gardening workshop on “Right Plant, Right Place” at the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum in Ilwaco. Master Gardeners will speak on choosing plants that are well-suited for our climate and about the ideal set of conditions in which they will flourish.

The museum is located at 115 E Lake Street. The workshop lecture begins at 10 a.m. After the lecture, attendees are invited to stay for a work party in the Museum Discovery Garden. Bring your favorite gardening tools!

Plant questions or problems? Ask a Master Gardener. Stop by the Museum anytime between 10 a.m. through 1 p.m. at the Museum. If possible, bring samples of your plant problem. The workshop and plant clinic are free and open to the public.

They will also be selling wooden plant containers as well as wooden trellises of various shapes and sizes. Credit cards accepted.
