Malcolm Smith

FLORIDA — Malcolm Smith LCDR USCG (ret) formerly of Warrenton, Ore., passed in Florida on Nov. 27, 2014. Lower Columbia River Chapter, Military Officers Association of America and other local organizations in which he served are sponsoring a Celebration of Life for Malcolm on Jan. 25 at the Astoria Golf and Country Club, 33445 Sunset Beach Lane, Warrenton, Ore., from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a no-host bar and hors d’oeuvres will be served. All of his friends and associates are invited. To facilitate food preparation, those planning to attend are asked to notify Ed Nelson, RADM USCG (ret) at radmed1@msn.com, or 503-325-2596. As Malcolm would have wished, the celebration will be upbeat. If anyone attending has humorous memories of Malcolm or remembers funny stories he told, you are invited to share them with all attending.
