LONG BEACH — Reachout Thrift Store, located at 1003 Pacific Highway north next to the Thai restaurant, sponsors and supports many youth activities.
This year alone they have donated more than $25,000 to various groups, which included a missionary trip to Puerto Rico for 21 youth from several local churches and from Naselle Youth Camp along with seven chaperones; donations to Dunes Bible Camp for Bibles and scholarships; and $500 each to Ocean Park School District music programs. In addition, they make monthly monetary donations to the Naselle Youth Camp for birthday parties and holidays throughout the year. All resources from the store via household items, clothing, help fund the work of the Reachout Ministries.
The store is widely popular for its daily $5 bag of clothes sales, and other daily sales. The store also donates stuffed animals to the local food banks.
Reachout Ministries Inc. is a Christian-based organization that began in early 1982 with a vision to serve the youth of the area.
Monetary donations may be sent to Reachout Ministries P.O. Box 59, Long Beach WA 98631
