VANCOUVER Dean Stratton, 62, the son of the late Mel and Dorothy Stratton, passed away peacefully died May 21, 2013, in Vancouver. He was born March 25, 1951, in Portland. Amongst his favorite memories were serving as statistician for the Ilwaco High School Fishermen football and basketball teams in the 1960s, and making many friends at the beach. He is survived by his two sisters, Joan (Don) Houser and Kay (Gerry) Devine. As a physically disabled person, he was treated equally among his peers, and his family thanks everyone for that. Rest in peace, Dean.
