ASTORIA The Bridgewater Bistro in Astoria was recently awarded its third consecutive Superior Cellar Award from Oregon Wine Press and the Oregon Wine Board. The annual Superior Cellar Award program was launched in 2010 to recognize restaurants that feature diverse and broad selections of Oregon wines on their wine lists.

The Bridgewater Bistro is one of only 80 restaurants statewide to receive this award. Its list of over 300 wines features 100 selections from Oregon, including world-class red, white and sparkling wines from the Willamette Valley, Columbia Gorge and Southern Oregon.

We are pleased to receive this prestigious industry award once again, said Bridgewater Bistro owner and wine director Tony Kischner. We continue to be committed to offering the best products produced in the Pacific Northwest, and Oregon wines certainly rank close to the top.

The Bridgewater Bistro was established in 2007 by Ilwaco residents Tony and Ann Kischner in a restored boatyard along the riverfront in Astoria. The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner, as well as Sunday brunch.  For reservations, call 503-325-6777 or visit www.bridgewaterbistro.com.
