CATHLAMET Wahkiakum County is holding a naming contest for the new ferry to be built in 2014. Applications and guidelines can be downloaded off the countys website at www.co.wahkiakum.wa.us or can be picked up at the County Courthouse, 3rd floor, 64 Main Street, Cathlamet. Deadline for entries is Feb. 15, 2013.

Names should represent such things as: County adopted symbols, tribal names, names of bodies of water, geographic locations, cities, counties, related to nautical heritage, etc. Consideration will be given to the names of prior ferries.
