PESTICIDE APPLICATION NOTICE

Portions of privately owned tidelands in Willapa Bay and Grays Harbor will be treated with the pesticide Sevin on or between July 1, 2012 and July 21, 2012 but not on July 4, 2012.

Notices will be posted at all public boat launches on the water bodies within 1.5 miles of the treated area and posted at all public access within 1/4 mile of the treatment area. The active ingredient to be used is Carbaryl. For more information contact the applicators at 360-875-5557, 360-942-8616, 360-244-2651. This treatment is regulated under permits issued by the Department of Ecology Water Quality Program (360-407-0245). This pesticide has been approved for this purpose by the EPA and Washington Departments of Agriculture, Ecology and Fish and Wildlife.
