PORTLAND George Frank Steiner, 81, of Ocean Park died Nov. 13, 2011, at Oregon Health Science & University Hospital. He was born Sept. 23, 1930, in Mott, N.D., to Leo Steiner and Beata Fleck. He is survived by his wife, Jean; his children, Colleen R. (Bill) Harren of Longview, George F. (Marie) Steiner Jr., of Albany, Ore., Gayla M. (Rick) Scott of Kelso, Charles E. (Melissa) Steiner of Longview, Kim M. (Tad) Olafson of Everett, Michelle L. Bade of Oaksville, and Kellie J. (Jeff) Kratzer of Enumclaw; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. A memorial Mass is planned for noon, Nov. 28 at St. Rose Catholic Church in Longview. A celebration of his life will follow at 2 p.m. at the Kelso-Longview Elks Lodge. Dahl-McVicker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
