NOTICE OF BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT PUBLIC HEARING AND SEPA DETERMINATION 

OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE

Case No (s): DPA# 11101650005; PL# 11-0179LB

Description of Proposal:  The applicants are requesting authorization from the Pacific County Board of Adjustment in order to construct a new 120 tall monopole wireless communication tower with an associated equipment cabinets and emergency generator within a 50 x 70 lease area.  

Proponent(s): Technology Associates on behalf of Verizon Wireless, applicants, and John Herrold and Roy Herrold, property owners.  

Location of Proposal: Subject property is located near 4109 State Route 101 and is described as Tax Lot 5, located within Section 16, Township 11 North, Range 10 West, W.M. in Pacific County, Washington.

Lead Agency: Pacific County. The lead agency for this proposal has determined that it does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment.  An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030 (2)(c). This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency.  This information is available to the public on request.  

The Land Use Permit will be considered for approval by the Pacific County Board of Adjustment during a public hearing scheduled for the Pacific County Administrative Facility located at 7013 Sandridge Rd, Long Beach, Washington, at the hour of 3:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible on Wednesday, November 30, 2011.

This Preliminary DNS is issued under WAC 197-11-340 (2); the lead agency will not act on this proposal for 14 days from the date below.  Comments must be submitted by 12:00 pm November 30, 2011.
